  2. There is a reason why Hamas did not release all the women hostages. They were probably serially raped and they did not want the world to see what they really are: BARBARIANS like the mongol hordes.

  3. Reminder that the UN Women took almost 2 months to condemn gender based violence done to Israeli women. And then took down the condemnation hours away, and still did not address it.

    This started a pretty large movement right now with the very fitting slogan: “MeToo (Unless you are a Jew)”

  13. NYT article. Hamas is probably correct that their testimony would tank public sympathy (it shouldn’t when it comes to Palestinian civilians).

    Israel has been tepid on providing details beyond what’s necessary. My read is it’s restraint on their part not to inflame things (not just protecting the dignity of the victims/ investigation) even at the expense of inviting skepticism. It also makes it more likely hamas will release them. A responsible move on their part.
