  1. Reminder that Israel has free healthcare funded by your taxpayer dollars. They get moral support, venture capital money, defense, protection, and even laws to support their products more than states.

They’ve codified entire spending bills and outright laws through their Zionist lobbyist tentacles

  2. I get that he doesn’t like Bibi, but this kind of crap only helps Hamas.

  3. Nice to see Sanders start to maybe remember he used to be a progressive. Netanyahu’s administration is the furthest right wing in the Western world. Would you support giving Trump billions of dollars to wage a war against Mexico? Like even putting aside how justified you feel a full scale military action is against an already occupied territory– if you’d have any pause in empowering our own fascists to competently and humanely occupy our neighbors, you should have *way more* hesitation in providing it to Bibi.

And even beyond his detestable politics, he is quite directly to blame and wrapped up in the events that lead to the rise of Hamas in the first place. He oversaw the lapse in security on October 7th. Giving him any amount of money is just irresponsible and destructive.

  4. yeah, this is Bernie’s moment to make a difference, I hope. He’s Jewish, and can stand toe-to-toe with Bibi in any argument. Go get ’em, Bernie. Stop the Bibi bullshit.

  5. uh oh. bernie (a jewish man) is about to get called anti-Semitic *again*. 🙄

  6. Are they going to censure Bernie next for calling a spade a spade?

  7. Good. History is going to hate western civilization for our part in this.

  8. This man could have been our president. Thank the DNC. We nearly had a decent and honorable president.

  9. I know some lovely Ukrainians who could really use that money if we aren’t going to use it for Israel.

  10. >I believe it is appropriate to support defensive systems that will protect Israeli civilians against incoming missile and rockets attacks, but I believe that it would be absolutely irresponsible to provide an additional $10.1 billion in unconditional military aid that will allow the Netanyahu government to continue its current offensive military approach

Once again Bernie Sanders states an opinion that is both obvious and moderate, yet he’s an outlier compared to his colleagues.

I just wish that more lawmakers were willing to call out the emperor for wearing no clothes, instead of cowering in the face of the pro-zionist lobby.

  11. Bernie is a ray of light compared to the rest of the government.

  12. If only there was a democratic president we can ask to stop sending money to a side that commits war crime daily . Oh wait ..

  13. Redirect all of it to Ukraine, they will make far better use of it than those civilian murderers. Ukraine also takes on Russia that is again very much involved in facilitating this turmoil.

  14. I’m way more inclined to give Ukraine money than isreal.

  15. Wtf! How could he say that? Israel good, Palestine bad! We have too many antisemitic people in the government.

I bet there are people who saw this article and said that unironically, not knowing Bernie is Jewish

  16. But no problem with Biden sending 10B to Iran, who back Hamas?

  17. Much love to all the idealistic ppl here thinking their suggestions matter

  18. Is it wrong for me to want to stop sending them money/weapons entirely.

  19. Why does Israel need money? They are already rich and have a much more powerful military than Hamas.

  20. Can we stop sending my tax dollars anywhere? Jesus Christ help our own people out for a change.

  21. Israelis have a higher standard of living than we do. I wish we would stop underwriting that. 🤷‍♂️

  22. Why is it that he always is the one, sole voice of conscience in DC??? What are all the others doing there, honestly??? Useless power mongers, all of them….
