Thick line represents the week we started to heat our apartment. Give me your tips and tricks – How can we efficiently keep our home warm while also cutting down on the energy consumption?

  1. Just for a reference – PEB C, new building, electric heating, 2 people in home office, 1-2 showers a day per person

  2. you put the heat lower …

    otherwise general rules.
Air out big and short, fresh air heats more easy – so to say.
    Cook with lids on.
Don’t leave thing on that you don’t use, (tv/pc/shower/heat in rooms you don’t use, …)
Keep doors closed in heated rooms.
Depending on how you heat, apply a foil on the wall behind the radiators.

Otherwise you are looking at long term heating investments.

that all said, using 20kWh/day is far from bad when you heat electrical (no heatpump i asume) and home office.

i use about 13.000 kWh gas and 2500 kWh electric for 160m² rowhouse EPC – C

  3. Please format your numbers so they have the same amount of decimals after the comma. It will be much easier to compare them.
