Ukraine military aid stranded by Polish border blockade

  1. The organizers of the Polish trucker blockade at the Ukrainian border have close business and political ties to Russia. Their companies used to trade with **Russia** actively before the full-scale invasion. Some are also members and leaders of the Confederation party — the only pro-Russian Polish political party that opposes military aid to Ukraine.

UNAS, the organizer of the border blockade in Slovakia, was also supported by the anti-EU radical party Our Slovakia. The party advocated for “restoring friendly ties” with **Russia**.
Who had any doubt that russia is behind this?

  2. > Not only is Poland’s border to Ukraine de-facto closed for cargo, but Hungary does not allow any vehicles with military cargo for Ukraine to pass through its territory at all, let alone crossing the border to Ukraine. This is not a new Hungarian policy, but under current circumstances, it further deteriorates the situation with military cargo shipments for Ukraine.

So they don’t even allow them to transit then enter Romania and pass into Ukraine from us.

Guess the only route that would circumvent the Visegrad blockade would be by sea to Greece then by land thru Bulgaria and Romania to Ukraine but Austria is vetoing Schengen what a coincidence.

  3. The issue is that current polish gov is basically abusing their presidential power to choose new gov and tries to form new gov with no chances to postpone it and remove their corruption scandal traces. in about 10 days new gov will come as the current one loses last step in forming gov which is not only support of president which they got but actually support of the parlement which they do not have.

I know it is shitty but you can thank the PIS Government right now where they for little cash do new gov till the last step of choosing it to postpone new one but at great cost to Poland and Ukraine right now… our new Education MP even has no idea how many person we have in parliament or basics of 8th class (she will be gone within 10 days and was chosen as a puppet)

  4. I think this problem will be solved once Poland has a functioning (and finally a competent) government within a few days now. It’s all just this PiS parties fault

  5. Poland wants Ukraine pie. If Russia starts advancing fast, no doubt Galicia will get invaded by Poland.

  6. This doesn’t look good for the Polish government. Whatever the reason, a group of people cannot just like that paralyse the border

  7. At this point it’s looking like Ukraine is doomed and will fall to Russia within a couple of years.

Best of luck to Poland with Russia on their border!
