  1. Why is this surprising? Ireland is, what, 5 million people? The Irish diaspora alone outnumbers that by a few times, and then the amount of people who genuinely care for Ireland? The reality is that Irish elites are searching to blame the riots on others rather than looking closer to home

  2. Woah there, you’re telling me that right wing movements in English speaking countries are using this as propaganda knowing it’ll be doubly effective due to Ireland also being English speaking and thus making it easier to follow? I’m shocked, shocked I tell you!

  3. So you are telling a matter that got a lot of attention in the western hemisphere resulted in a lot of posts from outside of Ireland? Crazy, what next, water is wet?

If this is meant to be an argument against something, then it fails at it.

Edit: It is not possible to say whether Irosh people do or not this. You could have majority of Irish people agree with such slogans, and most of online posts in support of it would still be from abroad.

I bet most posts in support of Israeli military operation, also comes from outside of Israel. Does it mean that Israeli citizens do not support it? No, it means that a lot of people over the world are invested in this conflict.

  4. “The majority of online posts stoking up anti-immigrant and far-right sentiment in Ireland come from the US and UK rather than Irish users, according to analysis of social media traffic.”

Thats the claim. Zero evidence / sources…

  5. >Most ‘Ireland is full’ and ‘Irish lives matter’ online posts originate abroad

The same can be said about those committing the stabbings.

  6. People who live outside Ireland comment on Ireland = stroke hate, divided Ireland, know nothing about Ireland.

Also the same people that live outside America or living in Ireland but comment on America.

    – Trump is dictator, Trump wanted to start WW3, Trump need to go, Trump is far right, Trump is facist, Trump is pedophile, Trump is orange man.

I’m not a fan of Trump but the hypocrisy is too obvious to ignore.

  7. Abroad ? Really ? Let me guess… somewhere to the east?

  8. lmao who would’ve guess that alt right terrorists try to fan the flames everywhere. fucking dipshits.

  9. Given Ireland’s laws, I imagine most Irish who don’t want the Irish cops kicking down their door are probably using VPNs.

The Irish diaspora is also massive. There’s more ethnic Irish people in the USA (36 million), Australia (7 million), the UK (6 million), and Canada (4.6 million) than there is in Ireland (4.2 million).

  10. Well 100% Free Palestine posts don’t originate from Palestine. It makes sense that Irish people have large diaspora

  11. Hey look, they are looking for someone to blame that isn’t in Ireland. American here, I haven’t stabbed any Irish children lately, no need to worry about me.

  12. Guess they can’t get back in, because it’s full. I see no faulty logic.
