And some people wonder why I say I’ll never vote for a Republican again.
I liked the pre-internet era where Republicans (while still probably Nazi-lovers deep down inside) still had to keep their pieholes shut because they knew well their views were not popular with the average American. Back then there were a lot of WWII vets who could still pack a punch as well and wouldn’t have put up with any of their shit.
Now they found the other freaks online and are organizing.
Over here in the Democratic Party, folks from every corner of our big tent denounce neo-Nazis.
Why would they denounce themselves?
The problem here is the words “internal war” because what it looks like to us democrats is the GOP circling the wagons around Neo-Nazis. When did we get to the point where people are embarrassed to swiftly, loudly, violently, vehemently renounce naziism?!
The GOP doesn’t help most average people and so hatred and fear rounds up the vote. Trump showed the GOP that they can actively campaign to the out in the open white supremacist vote and the GOP is so unpopular that they need these voters. If you want a glimpse of the GOP without the hate circus sideshow look at Kristen Sinema who is now deeply unpopular with voters. She represents the actual aims of the GOP without the openly vitriolic language and GOP voters don’t like her because repeatedly giving breaks to big business and the wealthy while doing nothing for the general public is not a popular position. So I don’t expect the GOP to denounce Nazis once and for all like they would have 20 years ago because they are not as generally popular as they were 20 years ago because nothing they advocate for now helps most Americans.
you don’t want to alienate your base, that’s politics 101.
Why are these guys not indicted
Remember when we used to fuck Nazis in the ass with munitions instead of giving them “rights”? Pepperidge Farm remembers
When Trump was asked to condemn the actions of people like David Duke, the leader of the KKK, he wouldn’t. His father apparently was close personal friends with the guy. Let’s you see how Donny was raised and why he is the way he is.
This is an easy layup unless you think enough of your base are nazi sympathizers that it could become an issue for you. Kind of frightening, but here we are.
They probably banned all the “Nazis are bad” books too.
GOP knows they need every vote they can get.
Why would they denounce themselves?
We need more active anti- hate groups. Show them nobody wants or needs their crap. If we don’t do something soon things are going to escalate and a lot of innocent people are going to have a bad time.
there is no such thing as a hitler apologist, thats just called a nazi.
They know exactly where their votes come from.
Because they need them to win elections.
Seems like no one is denouncing nazis these days, be they in Ukraine or Canada
I sort of get their reluctance because publicly denouncing it would also acknowledge that there is a neo-Nazi contingent inside the GOP. If we’re being honest, Trump has their votes 100% locked up even if the GOP would officially condemn neo-Nazis. They know Trump “condemns” them with a wink.
They know who their allies are…
And out the other side of their mouth still swear they support Israel.
There was no Bill to denounce Neo-Nazis. There was a Bill to ban association or support of Neo-Nazis. Huge difference. The latter would be unconstitutional opening the door to infringements on people’s rights to support or associate with any other group depending on how rabid the Liberals get in this country. If you can ban association with one group, you can ban associations with any group.
“MAGA Nazi Fascist Racists” is Trump’s Republican Party & without them they would have No followers, which can’t be refuted or denied.
You only have to be half decent to denounce National Socialism.
To the surprise of absolutely nobody
Why would they denounce the people they’re trying to court for votes?
