McDonald’s foods are shit. I quit eating there years ago.
You might as well support your local restaurants instead.
Chinese fried rice with grilled pork + vegetables aren’t that bad and way much better than greasy ass oil big mac.
Or
You can make yourself cheese burgers at home.
Inflation is real. That meme is not a fair example. Both can be true. Today at McDs I got a big mac, 10 piece nuggets, large coke & small fries for $9.28 and I live in an urban hcol area.
“The White House disagrees”
In other words, stop believing your own lying eyes, you ungrateful proles! As we have told you, we are winning against inflation!
100 percent real. Now people are gonna try to tell us its in our heads?
We should reduce the pay of congress to $50,000 a year and let them figure out how to budget their personal expenses with that and then ask themselves if the cost-of-living crisis is real or not.
Animal flesh is always expensive and only heavily lobbied for government subsidies have made it affordable
Price gouging is more than inflation.
Want Big Macs to cost less? Stop buying them.
A Big Mac large meal is $14.07 in Key West, FL…not exactly that far off.
I think the following are all true.
People think disinflation is deflation, it is not. Official figures say costs have gone up 20% or so in the last few years and are now rising more slowly. There is no indication of any return to those old prices.
Inflation is accurately measuring the increased costs of goods and services nationally for nationally average buyers. Regional variations are significant.
If you’re average, you are likely experiencing the inflation above in your personal spending. If you are lower income, your experience is worse than figures suggest because the things that have inflated the most are the necessities you were spending most of your money on.
Americans need to cut down on eating beef anyway. Saw an article on TIL only 1 in 10 Americans eat the correct serving of vegetables
