  1. Ah now 😕 back when women were told to stay at home and bring up 7 children she was like a flash of lightning from another culture. A breath of fresh air in an era of second rate. She never quite got the recognition she deserved as a driver for my money. The media tended to cover her as an unusual personality not a proper racer and it’s not like there were many women behind the wheel back then.

  2. I remember when she was on one of John Creedon’s TV show.

  3. Met her a few times, lovely woman, she must have been savage craic when she was younger.

  4. Very sad to hear this. I had a driving lesson with her when I was a teenager and she was so lovely and down to earth. RIP to an incredible woman.

  6. Remember my first ever time driving a car was a lesson with her in the passenger seat. Me nerves. Such a nice lady and the talent she had!
