Why is this a bad thing again? This sounds awesome!
I read the article and this is a good way for many people with not a lot of extra cash to actually be able to invest.
No everyone “deserves” to own a home and not everyone wants to.
Do you think if people that rented from an apartment complex could own shares in the same apartment complex they would treat it more like their own?
Real Estate Investment Trusts owning rental properties has been a thing since the 1960s.
This appears to bring the entry level of investment from $50k down to $100.
Allowing regular people to participate seems like more of a good thing than bad thing to me.
