EU approves ban on destruction of unsold clothing

  1. So it gets moved, *then* destroyed. Unless you’re going to ban exporting “unsold” clothing?

    You’ve added some diesel emissions to the process.

  2. Economically speaking, that’s not a good move for place that relies heavily on elitism to have a of competitive edge for its products.

  4. So after we made housing, energy and cars non affordable for europeans clothing is next in line to add fat price tag on I guess. What is next in the line? Food?

    This is something that should be solved one day but it is so irrelevant in current situation and it should be at the bottom of everyone’s priorities. There is so many things they can do that would have actual impact and they choose to decrease purchasing power of average European instead for pretty much zero reason yet again.

  6. They’ll just sell it to another country, who will then destroy it.

    It’s not really going to stop the practice.
