I don’t think he’s above pushing war widows/moms out of windows. Anyone who speaks out against Putin ESPECIALLY in a place where he controls everything is a courageous individual.
29 cities is a (pardon my French) shit load of people across Russia, and I think that Putin seems to be vastly underestimating how big these numbers of members are.
I’ve read that somewhere the Kremlin have tried to pay hush money to the people in this group, but from reading this article, that strategy has not appeared to have worked.
This pressure could cause the Kremlin to give into the group’s demands and start to withdraw troops…
The wanted war criminal Putin will unleash the FSB with automatic weapons upon these protesters.
So…..what are they gonna do?? He’s gonna win in the elections again with 98% approval! Have more children, he’s gonna need more soldiers for his next war and the war after that!
So get rid of the trash muppet that he is!!
They clearly misunderstood 2024 Year of the Family. It is Putins signal to start popping out new baby soldiers. (Not to celebrate the countless thousands of families he destroyed and that will spend all the next holidays without sons, fathers and brothers). It’s tempting to sympathise with these women, but let’s not forget they were fine with the bloodshed casted upon Ukraine as long as it wouldn’t effect them (too much).
Oh, you too? Damn, that’s tough. Get in line.
I still don’t think these protests will amount to anything while Putin wields absolute power to crush dissent.
If only they could find a window for Putin
They got what they voted for, what they agreed to. They made a deal with the demon, and now the lexicon is coming home to roost.
They will get their sons back when they are drafted for war next unfortunately.
How many wars do these people need to experience before realizing each war is a fucking lie?
It’s impossible for Putin to have betrayed these people because he was never on their side to begin with
Kinda crazy her fellow Russian citizens would listen to her say this to their faces but just respond with “yeah, but I’m gonna get my pension.”
Wonder how many of these people staunchly supported Vladya’s Special Military Operation?
War never changes
I’d love to ask them what they think of Ukrainian people. If they despise Ukrainians, think Ukrainians deserved this plight, and now they’re upset because their dear Sasha got blown up in the war. I have sympathy for oppressed people stuck in a rogue state, but how many of them cheered for a colonial victory, and now are crying wolf because the war came home in a casket. Cause depending on the answer, tell it to the bodies in Mariupol. Violence begets violence, and they must ask how culpable they truly are, at the individual level
He’ll be mobilizing them to the front soon if they don’t keep quiet.
how fuck these lazy peasants do not want to give birth to 7-8 new children like their kind great leader ordered
Well duh! It seems you haven’t really been paying attention. The mans been clinging to power for the better part of 25 years through various machinations. You should have seen this coming.
Vote Trump and this could be you in 2025!
I just think that these ladies will be drafted and sent to the front as a result…
He betrayed them with the Kursk over 20 years ago. The writing was on the wall then.
It’s easy to get dragged into their plight but none of them care about invading Ukraine or the systematic torture, only how it affects them personally or makes their country look. They proudly support the invasion as long as it’s not their own blood and even then, would be ok loosing family if they got compensated.
I think many want to believe they’re afraid to talk back against the war, but the entire time my friend was preparing to leave, support in private was bordering obsessive and reflected public appearance.
