  1. Now this makes me even more sad that we’re not getting an animated version of LoZ in Miyazaki style.

  2. If this is how this guy is thinking about making one of the biggest franchises in gaming into a movie we can just go ahead and assume it’s gonna be garbage. I like Miyazaki but come on, shoot higher, do something as completely different with the same Zelda esk vibe as possible. You might wanna pick one of the games in the series particular “vibe” as well or it’s going to be ALL over the place.

  4. I do not envy this task. Zelda is quite beloved and honestly I don’t know if one could get it right in a 1-2 hour movie.

  6. On the one hand, I think it would be smart to cast someone who can embody Link but looks nothing like the traditional model. This could get around some of the weirdness of giving dialogue to a character that famously doesn’t talk.

    On the other hand, Timothee Chalamet exists.
