Democrats are going to have to close the door a little at the border to get this shit passed. I 100% want Ukraine to have more aid. I’ve personally donated over $1,500. But I also HIGHLY disagree with our own borders literally being a wide open door. 7,000(last i looked months ago) people per day is OUTRAGEOUS. My entire little town is less than that. You people are letting entire towns in every single day. No wonder housing prices are through the roof. We’ve gone from 350,000 or so apprehensions each year for the last 10 years to 2021 having 1,600,000 and 2022 having 2,210,000. I’m sure 2023 is around the 2,600,000 mark or so. You people have let in 20 years worth of immigrants in THREE YEARS. Are you insane? It wasn’t just a slow increase either. It went from 350,000 to 2.5 MILLION in just three years. These are all just the recorded apprehensions. It’s not even the full amounts. Even Obama knew that flooding the nation was a horrible idea.
Close the damn border door just slightly so that we can get this fucking aid passed and we can save a nation from being wiped off the planet by fucking terrorists. Worst case scenario for democrats is that your immigrant numbers will go back to “normal.” Even your sanctuary cities are begging to slow it down. You are crumbling the system.
