The US will not intervene militarily. The only reason Biden hasn’t sent troops ,despite countless advisors at the Hill calling for it, is because it is political suicide (domestically) at this point. Military intervention is now unpopular bipartisan .So the same old will happen: sanctions+ threats that will never materialize.
He is engaging in diplomacy. But diplomacy does not mean bowing down to all of the demands and receiving nothing in return
