Good on these kids for banding together against it, it’s been happening for far too long and kids keep quiet about it. I still remember things that happened to me as a teen on public transport and I’m 34. Uniform doesn’t protect you, it makes you a target.
I was 13 and in school uniform when I started. As I’ve gotten visibly older, the harassment has stopped.
I remember being on a train and this fat bald dude was taking pics of these 2 young girls in school uniforms and telling them how beautiful they were and that his wife would be amazed at how stunning they were. I asked if the girls were uncomfortable and they said yes, so I told him to delete pictures and fuck off. He said no but another guy intervened and we marshalled him off the train and alerted security at the station. They literally just let him go, didn’t call the police or ask to look at his phone or anything. This shit is fucking rife.
My cousin who’s female was catcalled as sexually harassed at age 10. It was disgusting.
My 12 year old daughter was cat called the other day walking from school. She came home visibly upset about what they said.

a couple of years ago when I was in secondary I saw a man asking this girl who was 2 years below me for hug, this was a child and a random grown man
I thought it was odd and I was too scared to say something back then, I am not sure if he was disabled or not
