So not only are they *taking-our-jobs*, but they are taking our ability to *not-take-our-own-jobs*.
Bring back the old NWO, that’s what I’d say. Hogan would have this sorted in ~~minuets~~ minutes.
I thought employment rates were typically higher in immigrants?
People are people, who knew.
But…but… I was told non irish are coming here because they get free money and ae have the best social welfare ever (not even amounting half of a basic salary which is already way too low to survive) by some “intelligent” man on Sly Australia… (Top video you should watch it… The amount of crap and it was on Sky so all the weak minds now believe it’s true…)
What’s also really interesting about immigrants is that large numbers of them will just emigrate if the economy does go into a downturn. So, lots of them will contribute a load of PRSI into the social welfare fund, and then leave and not collect the unemployment benefits. Essentially subsidising domestic workers.

Source: This happened after 2008, when net migration of non-Irish citizens far exceeded net migration of Irish. https://www.migrationpolicy.org/sites/default/files/publications/TCM-Emigration-Ireland-FINAL.pdf
