My 2 cents: if an expert in warfare is traumatized by that kind of stuff maybe they are not in the right line of work. Perhaps they’d better be suited in a line of work that is not related to war.
Now if they aren’t really traumatized but merely try to use their position in the gov apparatus to spin a story that’s just pathetic.

For all of the Hamas simps and Israel haters …. I hate you all. The sad truth is that these people think that Hamas is honest and that they provide truthful accounts of what is going on and what happened on October 7th. See, Hamas realizes that there is a chunk of people in the West who are desperate to hate Israel, as well as to hate the US, which is linked closely to Israel. So, to them …. Israel is the evil one.
Even with the endless evidence of the sheer level of vile barbarity that was carried out on that day of infamy, to the Hamas simps …. it’s just “IDF propaganda!!” You could link this article to them and they would just say it’s all lies. Hell, you could take them to a screening of this video and they would still deny that it happened. I mean, I’ve seen female activists who are very involved with helping women who have been raped and abused, straight up deny that Hamas raped anyone. They still deny it happened …. even though Israel has found lots of dead women with pants missing, legs broken and clear signs of horrible sexual trauma. We are realizing that most of the younger female hostages that were taken haven’t been released yet. I’m betting that they have gone through horrible sexual trauma and are still going through it, if they are even alive. Which would explain why Hamas refuses to let them go.
It’s so tiring trying to talk to people like that. The excerpt about the father and his two boys will stay with me forever. Christ in heaven ….
It really makes you think , how can people be bred to hate so much and commit heinous acts. Part of rebuilding plan should encompass provisions for more UN-sanctioned schools. Need to target deradicalization and education towards the youth coupled with mental health resources to combat the equally traumatized kids in the strip.
Hamas is a terrorist organisation and should be held accountable for the atrocities they have committed.
I hope this guy is also traumatised by all the innocent Palestinian children being massacred daily by Israel in their response. There is a lot of murderers committing war crimes on that side too that need to be held accountable.
