Can someone educate me whether private institutions have the right to set different speech rules compared to public? I’m outside the US but I understand public words of antisemitism would unfortunately be fully covered by free speech unless causing incitement to violence. I would like to know whether the universities would have to follow that constitutionally or if it’s up to them whether they follow free speech principles.
Also just a reminder that the Qatar Foundation gives basically billions of dollars to all these universities
