At the same time, the Red Cross volunteers are working in a very dangerous active war zone to bring aid to people that need it, as well as aid in the hostage transfers. I’m sure things on the ground are pretty chaotic. It is unfortunately not surprising that issues like this arise.
Red cross is also helping Russian soldiers, worth thinking on where donations should not go

If you think you’ve got a solution for how the Red Cross can force Hamas to give them access to Israeli citizens being held hostage, stop and ask yourself, “does this plan essentially ask for the Red Cross to use injured Palestinean civilians as leverage for their demands, an why do I think that’s any better than anyone else taking hostages?”
