2. That’s an insanely rare system . It only entered service in 2020 and hasn’t been exactly made in great quantities. It being deployed near the front does seem to confirm the recent information that Russia is removing air defense systems from it’s own territory to give additional protection to troops in the trenches.

   Either way quite the win for Ukraine.

3. The vehicle in the drone’s feed doesn’t really look like an S-350 launcher. The module at the back is pretty non-rectangular. The rounded top looks a lot more like one of the command post variants of their truck lines or something.

4. Most expensive documented drone kill to date! The launcher alone is priced at over $100 mil. for export. The previous record was held by a hit on a TOR (at around $25 mil. a pop).

   This is supposedly “the latest and greatest”, might just be a few of them in active duty.

   I think this is also a good sign in terms of Russia’s capabilities – they’re willing to put the latest and greatest on the frontline, risking the destruction and all of the related negative PR and lost weapons contracts in the future.

   This means that they might be running relative low on potent AA systems, IMHO.

5. Huge! An S-350 is arguably a bigger win than an S-400. The S-400 has a longer range, but the S-350 is much more comprehensive in what it can detect and attack.
