I with USA was structured like european cities. I need a car for EVERYTHING here….i hate it. Gas is cheaper than europe, but when you have to drive to get anywhere i end up spending way more on gas than I ever did living in europe. I didn’t even need a car at all in europe except for a few times visiting someone that lives far from the cities, otherwise walking and public transportations were great so I did not need a car.
Milan overall seems like such a nice place to live. Great underground, clean, nice architecture. Close to the mountains and lakes.
