10 years ago Ukraine, Belarus and Kazachstan were firmly in Russia’s sphere of influence. But now the citizens of these countries detest Russia, especially Ukrainians, and rightfully so.
I don’t understand what Putin had to do with the cause of protests in Kazakhstan (which were over gas prices), and I find it weird and alarming that this narrative is being pushed.
The problem is that Kazak forces and their allies seems to be okay with mass-murder.
