  1. It means that the air quality is rather bad for humans because of the low temperatures and resulting thermal disturbances “bad and polluted” air from for example cars is not getting blown away quickly enough.

  2. It’s a map of Germany, shaded to indicate air quality at a given point in time.

  3. Wind is blowing the bad air from Poland – most likely due to burned coal from heating and power plants.

  8. You’re getting all the good stuff blown up from Ukraine via pretty much whole Poland. So, coal, whatever is burned on the front limes,industry, etc.
