  3. It’s always amazing to me whenever you get someone like Allen who’s career has been mostly in the toilet for decades thinks he can act like this to his fellow actors.

  7. I remember Nickelodeon had a brief interview with him in the 1990s. Lori Beth Denberg of *All That* interviewed him. I’m guessing she was 16-17 tops, and Tim Allen was such an ass to her. I was very much on the “Fuck you, Tim Allen” train after seeing that.

  9. I remember in the first Santa Clause movie (never saw the others) his character was *such* an ass through the whole thing! I guess he wasn’t just acting.

  15. During his Home Improvement days, he drove a race car (I think it was a Saleen?) and was at a local racing track the same day my cousin was also racing. Tim held a small meet and greet and a handful of people showed up. He just signed race programs and didn’t say two words to anyone. I even mentioned to him that I liked his show, said he was a funny actor, and he just looked at me, signed his autograph, and handed it back uninterested.

    It doesn’t make him a horrible person or anything but he was not friendly at all.

  16. I met him at one of his stand up shows and he was super nice. I do have a friend in the film industry though who has worked with him on numerous occasions and said he was awful to work with.

  19. Just reading your comments and it’s an eye-opener what a dick this guy is, but what an incredible career. For as good as Galaxy Quest is, Joe Somebody is as bad. My friends and I in high school called our prom dates the Wild Hogs.

    It made me wonder why people like Patricia Richardson, JTT and Richard Karn, who all seem like nice people, are still seemingly close to him.

    Maybe he’s not an ass to them.

    But he is always coming across as an egotistical asshole when he lucked into all his roles.

  33. I saw his stand up special a few years ago and he did seem like a huge ass and he wasn’t even interacting with people.
