  3. All Americans need to realize that this bill included funding for the border but Rs blocked it anyway because it didn’t include immigration policy changes.

They could have passed the bill and still tried to advocate for immigration policy changes in another bill. It’s not like this bill would’ve been the be all end all, the final bill forever when it comes to the border and immigration.

So why didn’t they pass it?

**Because they know their hardline conservative immigration policies are unpopular with many Americans, which is why they’re trying to attach that to Ukraine/Israel/Taiwan support, which are more popular issues.**

This isn’t just about Ukraine. Israel and Taiwan are learning a lesson from this. They’re learning what it means to be a US ally: it means the US may or may not support you, depending on what political games politicians play. When the US says “We stand with you” and “as long as it takes,” it really means “Hopefully we’ll support you if you’re lucky, but you can’t count on us.”

  4. Wow, what happened to the Senate? They were always onboard with helping Ukraine before. Mitch McConnell was very vocal about this. All of them just pivoted because those 8 House Republicans started this? I’m so confused

  5. Yeah they are all on Putin’s side. Why I hope when Russia does fall. These traitors all go down with them.

  6. “Democrats choose illegal aliens over Israel and Ukraine.” See how that works?
