No what we NEED is to cease our obsession with unnecessary consumerism and stop putting the onus on government to change their policies. Because they won’t. If capitalism is all about supply and demand ..them the simplest path to change is to stop the demand. Only we can do that as individuals. But we won’t of course. Much easier to just shift the onus to governments.
As long as R’s and corruption have control of Congess, this can’t happen.
