Flamingo are once again making proposals to build a resort on Loch Lomond. I strongly recommend we as proud Scot’s object this. Loch Lomond is a beautiful and historic nature spot, these plans simply can’t go ahead! We should not take Loch Lomond for granted, our country is known for its simply stunning nature and wildlife, we must protect it. Not only will this be destructive towards the nature, wildlife and history, but it will also cause a lot more travel congestion.
On top of that, We can’t sell out and ruin Loch Lomond. Permission being granted will result in all of the land being sold to flamingo land, therefore the beauty and protection of Loch Lomond will be out of our hands, and into the hands of people who evidently don’t care about nature and the environment surrounding it.
I’m all for this plan for flamingo land, but just not on Loch Lomond! I’m sure many of you who have visited Loch Lomond or even had the pleasure of looking down on it atop Ben Lomond know just how amazing it is. We simply cannot let these plans go ahead. We must protect what’s ours and stop these people from ripping the place up!
