I honestly think that if shit starts hitting the fan for Trump and it becomes clear he won’t get the GOP nod, Biden will drop out of the race immediately. I think next year will be Trump and Biden or neither.
The reason Biden beats Trump is the exact same reason some Democrats don’t want him again: Biden is a boring, old white guy. He is Donald Trump’s kryptonite.

This is the kind of talk that the entire democratic leadership needs to be engaging in. Democrats have done a shit job for a long time playing team sports, instead just trying to play kingmaker and find the next Obama or (Bill) Clinton. Biden is one of the few leaders in the party who it feels like actually gives a damn about mentoring and bringing up the next generation. That was his entire role in the Obama administration.
I just wish more of the Democratic leadership was onboard.
