Not funding Ukraine’s effort sends a clear message to Russia, Iran, China = we are weaker and way more dysfunctional than you ever dreamed.
I still remember a time when people voted for republicans because they were strong on national security. Holy fuck times have changed.
So fund the border and move on to more important things like giving Ukraine the weapons it needs to win, not just survive.
No republican wants border control. Illegal migrant workers are the foundation of the redneck economy. If they wanted to fix it then what were their priorities during the Trump administration?

If the dems were holding up funding for Ukraine because they wanted to force funding for climate change, student debt, or any other domestic policy arguments, I’d be tearing them down as well.

Republicans never intended to solve or work on a solution to the border crisis. They wanted more funds for manpower, facilities. They were going to get it. So they asked for more and more. In short they intend to use the border as a election issue. If they fix it they lose their jobs. The border is a separate issue and should never be part of funding for Ukraine.
Poland is blocking the border, Republicans are blocking aid at a time when russians are throwing more and more meat waves against us. Ukrainians have a very limited number of shells and components for FPV drones cannot cross the Polish border… now the losses of Ukrainians will increase significantly, real support from countries with “common” values, I hope you are proud of yourself
