  1. Everything is a challenge for SF in power given most of their policies are unrealistic. They consider reality a challenge lol

  2. She talks a lot of hot air but actually she’s on to something with this. I’m not sure exactly how they’d go about it though as civil servants are unionised to the hilt AFAIK

  3. “The Sinn Féin leader has also said she and her ministers will take a pay cut if her party enters government after the next election.”

Yeah but for the love of god will someone be sure to padlock the stationery supply room door shut because they’ll clean the place out hahah

  4. I first suggests she watches the box set of Yes Minister *and then* Yes Prime Minister if she thinks she’ll somehow be able to do anything around recruitment times for nurses and doctors.

  5. Constipated, the lazy fuckers are proud of their idleness, there are threads here half full of public sector workers bragging about doing nothing.

Edit: And butthurt about there own words it seems.

  6. This is a real issue across UK and Ireland. If you read Dominic Cummings accounts of govt he has identified the high ranking civil servants and the embedded anti system as the real problem. The reforms he had started on would have huge streamlining and efficiency gains. Ireland needs to repeal laws and end practices that undermine the public good. Look at DPER civil servants dressing up ideology as immutable reality.
