Houthi-Beamter: Wir werden jetzt jedes Schiff ins Visier nehmen, das nach Israel fährt, egal welchen Eigentümer es hat

  1. This is more of a global security threat, not just for Israel. Shipping lanes are “sacred” for the global economy. The Houthis, I think, are biting off more than they can chew, especially as these lanes also lead to the Suez canal, one of the major routes from the far east to the Mediterranean (and Europe).

  2. The Houthis do realize the US has two aircraft carrier groups parked in the region, right? Fun fact: one of those aircraft carrier groups has more firepower than all of WW2 combined. Not too smart.

  3. I wonder if the word “Houthi” will even make it into the history books? Probably not.

  4. The former approach did not manage coaxing the US to escalate towards a world war, so Iran is sending their attack goats one step closer to the sun.

  5. are you threaten to target American ships? If so, prepare for maverick. You won’t see him coming.

  6. Houthi Official: We’ll now make ourselves targets for the final boss.

  7. One good bombing raid will set them in their place, they are rebels that only barely won their fight

  8. Don’t promise punches you can’t throw. Suddenly, you might find yourself lying in a pool of your own blood.

  9. As an Israeli I’m gonna say if they do this it will have big repercussions. IDF/USA can hit them whenever they want.

  10. They say a lot, we will see what they will actually do. If they actually try anything they will feel the wrath of the whole globe come against them.

  11. Terrorists about to get to the “find out” phase

  12. > Houthi official

You can just call them “terrorists”.

  13. Limerick time:

The Houthis were hiding in Yemen

To attack the ships that were come’n

    They shot at the U.S.

    And wouldn’t you guess?

The got blown to hell, not to heaven.

  14. Cool. That’s how every boat bigger than a canoe in your country gets turned into flotsam for the next decade.

  15. I hope they hit a Chinese ship, get them to throw their hands up

  16. They’ve been walking around with their chests puffed out because they managed to kick the well-equipped and Western supplied Saudi armed forces out of Yemen. Plus they’ve been enabled by Iran the entire time. They’re a small fish that haven’t been put in their place yet.

But hey if they keep it up they’ll come to find out exactly what the differences are between going up against a poorly trained rabble with shiny toys and a 21st century military superpower

  17. More posturing? Global trade is one of the few things the whole world agrees and does not play with, you’d be enemy number one easily.

  18. It really do seem like no one gives a fuck about war crimes anymore

  19. More bullet catchers for the Navy Seals I suppose.

  20. And fire blindly into the sea… It’s literally kids light enough fireworks

  21. When they get fucked up I hope it’s put on camera for the world to see. Fucking pieces of shit

  22. Mess with the ships, get the carrier groups, I always say.

  23. People fail to understand that the length, cost and soldier-life price Israel is paying in Gaza is *only* because they are trying (VERY hard) to limit civilian casualties. If Israel is pushed to the corner by several fronts and actually has to attack with limited means they’d easily flatten whichever mud huts those Houthis live in.

  24. Yemen about to find out what it’s like to currently live in Gaza.

  25. Raytheon shareholders creaming their pants right now

  26. And make new enemies all around the world! Hope that works out for em.

  27. Online Tankies cheering for this to destroy global capitalism.

  28. The Iranians must really love this shit.

    1. Convince Arabs to go fight wars they can’t possibly win

    2. They die by the tens of thousands

    3. Israel and America get blamed.

Lebanon, Syria and Yemen (mostly Saudis fault) and Iraq (mostly the US fault) are all basically failed states or Iranian puppets and all it cost them was a few billion dollars and maybe 1000 or so of their IRGC member “advisors” who were happy to go fight anyways. Plus Gaza is going to be rebuilding for 20 years and the PA in the WB is on the brink of collapse in favor of Hamas which will end up getting WB turned to rubble too.

The entire former axis of secular or multi confessional Arab states, whether Pan-Arab or Baathist are irrelevant, leaving just the Saudis, the small indefensible oil kingdoms in the gulf and Egypt that doesn’t want to be involved.
