  1. Mykola Shchors died like a true communist hero: From a bullet to the back of the head.

  2. Some are complaining that the government shouldn’t waste resources taking these down now. I would like to remind them that there is a fine tradition of taking down monuments during times of war and recycling the metal into weaponry and other things more useful to the military. (Most of DaVinci’s bronzes were made into cannon)

    What better use could be made of these monstrosities?
