  1. Are we sure this isn’t some diy helicopter. The inside of that thing looks like a child’s go-kart

  2. Why not get in behind, it then the vertical stringing would be a benefit, and less lateral lead needs to be factored into the shots.

  3. Question for the ex-militaries and experts: Is this the result of Russia losing scores of experienced pilots and troops, leading to more and more inexperienced newbies fast tracked into action to make up for their losses?

Like /u/MysteriousCabinet113 wrote, wouldn’t positioning yourself behind the drone make targeting easier? Sorry, my knowledge is purely video game based.

  4. What’s Russian for ‘couldn’t hit a cows arse with a frying pan’?

  5. I flew the MI-8 myself in Operation Flashpoint 2001.
It’s quite hard to hit something with it’s unguided guns and missiles

  6. Should’ve probably came up behind it. Would have been 100x easier to hit,

  7. Sucks to suck.
I wonder of they could add a 50 cal machine gun on the drone also remotely operated. Hmmm

  8. This is hilarious to watch, he’d have better luck ramming it!

  9. Drone Operator: Is someone firing at us? Should we take evasive maneuvers?

    Command: you already are.

  10. First 3 salvos where no where near ???

Like I understand dumb fire, but this is like firing a roman candle…

Fml and Russia thinks it can take on the West with this shit hahahahahahahaha

  11. Only the pilot orc knows why he didn’t get behind the maritime UAV before opening fire… and it’s beyond my comprehension why the heli crew filmed themselves screwing up their fire mission.

  12. I remember playing 90s helicopter sims (Jane’s and MicroProse) and rockets were always a pain to use.

  13. Failure is always an option. For russians the most likely one.

  14. Drone isn’t even being evasive, straight and true and they can’t hit it lol

  15. Imagine equipping these naval drones with stingers so they can defend themselves

What is the lock range of stingers agaisnt helicopters anyway?

  16. I imagine he was conserving fuel consumption by laying back for target practice. Piss poor to say the least. Didn’t any of the crew have a whamo wrist rocket?

  17. You’d almost think that most of the Russians don’t really want to be at war or something!

  18. I would use navy drones to bate out the choppers the use fpv
