Within the core of our city, the increasing volume of both public and private vehicles has sped up the environmental challenges associated with global warming, prompting a call for immediate action. In light of this resolution, I advocate for a deliberate transition towards renewable energies as a lasting solution, emphasizing that Puerto Princesa must capitalize on its distinct environmental advantages to pave the way for a more environmentally friendly and sustainable future.

Binding the perpetual heat in our city through solar panels presents an efficient solution not only for converting sunlight into clean, sustainable power but also for addressing the frequent power outages caused by insufficient support from our existing power plants. Moreover, implementing windmill farms to capture the abundant and forceful southwest winds serves as a valuable supplement to our energy resilience, offering an extra layer of support to combat frequent power outages and further fortifying our commitment to sustainable energy solutions. Considering the costs involved, I, Tom Ordoñez, a criminology student at Palawan State University, can admit that advocating for renewable energies is more crucial than prioritizing public attractions in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Yes, tourist attraction structures are also in need in Puerto Princesa City, because of already having natural tourist attraction resources for the outsiders of this city, from other provinces and from other countries. But what about the people who live here? It is not just that we cannot make a solution for ourselves just because of prioritizing other people over us. A healthier environment is paramount for our overall well-being, surpassing the mere aesthetic appeal of attractions for our eyes.

Puerto Princesa City, Palawan stands at a critical juncture where prioritizing a deliberate shift towards renewable energies emerges as an imperative solution to combat the escalating environmental challenges. Recognizing the significance of fostering a healthier environment for the well-being of both the local residents and the broader community, the emphasis on sustainable energy solutions needs to take the superiority over the appeal of external tourist attractions. Let us roll with a healthier vibe! Living in a better environment is a must because who knows what happens when we only focus on things that give us a quick boost. Opting for long-lasting well-being and eco-friendly choices not only keeps us pumped but sets the stage for a kickass future for us and the planet!
