I assume he was fine with the VAR decision to give Palace a pen in a situation where no one would surely say a clear and obvious error was made on the pitch.
Old man wants to bring the game back to the 90s where his style works best. Crotchety old man, bitter to lose again to the club that proved he was out of his depth anywhere near a club trying to be above mid table.
Why shouldn’t VVD kick the ball at Ayew, when he’s intentionally trying to stop the play knowing that Liverpool almost always like to take those quickly – it’s not like he’s in the right to do so and so Virgil should accept Palace gaining an unfair advantage? It’s the risk you take doing that, most players know it. And to pretend the second yellow wasn’t even a foul is laughable, argue it’s too soft for a second yellow sure, but it’s a blatant foul.
