Keeping disruptive pupils in mainstream schools ‘ruins lives and learning’

  1. Of course it does. Teachers have been saying this for ages. The problem is, there is no provision for the disruptive students outside of mainstream schools, so if they are removed, they are simply abandoned.

    Schools would love to be able to put disruptive students in alternative provisions, but a certain group have cut all other education provision to the bare bones in the last 13 years.

  2. Send them to Rwanda seems to be the answer for most of the governments problems

  3. Do they still have remedial classes. It was the most stupid system. No one could learn a thing when kids got put down into them as it had all the disruptive kids in mixed with any kid who had learning difficulties or was behind for other reasons. No teacher could control those classes. So no one learnt. Bit like the whole class system of the UK in a bottle really.
