Unless it is still a major issue come the next election or Johnson quits because of it, they will escape from it all too easily. If he has not resigned now, or by the summer at the latest, then Johnson will at least lead the Tories to the next election. It would end the career of Prime Ministers in the past, not so anymore. That gives Johnson all the reasons he needs to hang on and not do anything to rock the boat. The quicker this is out of the headlines, the better for him, so expect a dead cat soon.
If nothing comes from this then we do genuinely live in an elected dictatorship, evidence of the law being broken under the polices noses & they side with the political party in charge.
Working 40-50 hours a week to afford sweet fuck all while this lot get away with blue murder every other day, breaking the laws they came up with & embezzling billions from us.

One thing that I find really bad is the lack of leadership it shows.
There is an national emergency involving a highly infectious disease that has a high mortality rate and no real therapy at the time and the leader of the country tasked with getting us through it is putting himself in danger and potentially leaving the country leaderless (I use leader in its broadest possible sense here when referring to Mr Johnson).
Admittedly he had caught it in April. But still.
He is an extremely poor leader.
