Allies of Hungary’s far-right prime minister Viktor Orbán will hold a closed-door meeting with Republicans in Washington to push for an end to US military support for Ukraine, the Guardian has learned.
Márton Ugrósdy, the deputy state secretary for the prime minister’s political director’s office, and Attila Demkó, a leading pro-Orbán academic, along with members of the Hungarian embassy in Washington, will on Monday begin a two-day event hosted by the conservative Heritage Foundation thinktank
The American GOP is a fascist party controlled by Russian and Saudi interests.
I sincerely hope diplomatic circles will remember this next time Hungary wants something.

Ok, this is reaching new levels of stupidity/evil.
I hope the rest of Europe remembers this moment the next time Orban comes asking for EU funds. And I hope we, as a continent, start to plan for contingencies in case the Republicans win the next election (and eliminate dependency with the USA in general).
Letting Hungary into the EU was probably a mistake (no disrespect intended to individual Hungarians; but Orban and his cronies have been a disaster). Not building up our own defense capabilities enough and buying most of our military gear from the US, while allowing our own defense development and manufacturing capabilities to atrophy was an even greater error.
As long as he has veto and voting rights in the EU he will continue offering his services to external players.
What has become of republicans. Caricature.
One final way to self-report as russian agents.
We have a real “paradox of tolerance” conundrum on our hands here in our lack of lawful/democratic means to purge ourselves of those traitors.
