  1. More good news!

That would make sense as to why there’s no talk of increasing restrictions from NPHET and why they’re happy for school opening to go ahead. Risk from the disease is changing.

I’m still expecting ICU to rise due to the sheer volume of cases but nowhere near at the rate of Delta.

  2. It feels like the beginning of the end of this pandemic, the conspiracy nutters are going to reach a point this year when reality will come crashing down and they’ll no longer be able to claim its a Jewish-Chinese effort to implant us with micro-chips to curb our appetites so we’ll all start eating incests, or whatever

  3. What % of Omicron are we upto now?

Last figure I saw a week ago was 80%

    Surely it’s 100% by now?

  4. Does the spread of Omicron help to limit the spread of delta? Like, when people’s immune systems adapt to Omnicron after catching will it help people fight off Delta should they get that instead? If it works anything like that then I feel I’ll be more comfortable with the direction we are going in regards to handing covid right now.

  5. Really dumb question: do new variants replace old ones? If they do, why? For example is there any Alpha or vanilla Covid circulating at all anymore?
