Live by the sword, die by the sword. It was mentioned shortly after this war started that Hamas didn’t anticipate Israel’s response. They assumed Israel would just fire back for a few hours and then negotiate the release of the hostages.
Instead, Israel declared total war on Hamas and Hamas now hides in tunnels while its people suffer the consequences.
Maybe, just maybe, the people of Gaza and the West Bank can see the cancer that these terrorist groups are and get rid of them. But idk. It seems when Middle Eastern people have a chance to elect leaders, they always tend to elect despotic strongmen who perpetuate bloodshed in the name of a religion.
Hamas is winning the PR war thanks mostly to useful idiots online and IRL, but Israel won’t stop until Hamas surrenders.
I hope this is true and not just Jpost Israeli propaganda. The Palestinians are being used as pawns and have been brainwashed into thinking their deaths serve some higher purpose on the path of destroying Israel, but it’s not. Palestinians deserve better.

If I were Israel, I would start air dropping aid in the south to bypass the UN and these relief organizations. Would be a massive PR win especially since people are getting mad at UN and Hamas.
Judging by the videos from Gaza on October 7th, they all seemed to be pretty happy with Hamas, street parties and all. Wonder what changed?

I mean, I feel like if the militant group in your city has initiated a major attack against a superior force and then hide in your schools and hospitals, or in underground shelters while the civilians are getting bombed, I’d be pretty pisses from the outset as a Palestinian
Clearly the IDF and settlers are not innocent in the whole cluster fuck, but damn, you can’t wage war from the places your citizens are trying to shelter and seek aid

There was maybe 5 minutes around Oct 8 when there was absolute clarity on all sides that what Hamas had done was specifically orchestrated to result in even greater suffering for palestinians. Then everyone resumed with their pre-exisitng bias, and here we are.

I like that one guy at the end who shouted “come here if you’re real men!” To challenge an armed militant like that really shows how angry the people are. Understandably so. I hope more Palestinian people will rise up against Hamas so they can all be weeded out, find and release all hostages, and we can send in aid that’ll be able to reach everyone. This conflict has highlighted one of the most singular destructive examples of cognitive dissonance on the left that I have ever witnessed with my own eyes. The far left is dead to me bc they prove time and time again that they will side with the extreme right in the form of islamist extremism when it hurts who they deem to be the most egregious “oppressors” They will turn against every value they believe in just to stick it to the powers that be who are white, western, democratic and capitalistic..
