  1. Well they already took majority control of London

  2. I mean for a country that ruled half the world at one point, is now blatantly being sold to the higgest bidder there is some irony in there somewhere.

  3. Our political system (New Lab or Conservative) is geared to selling our services.

    People vote for this.

Last time someone championed keeping things in house he got battered in a Brexit election.

    Again. Brits vote for this.

  4. Give large amounts of money to dictators with a medieval culture because they sit on oil. WCGW.

  5. Great news. Hopefully, they’ll make it far more efficient.

  6. Female pilots must cover their faces. The increase in crashes is entirely co-incidental.

  7. There is a tipping point coming in the West when it will start rooting Arabs out of Western countries letting them ally with Russia and china.

  8. And soon to be renamed to Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud International Airport

And arport code changed from LHR to MBS

  9. saudis and commercial airplanes are a winning combination.

  10. And to think that it all started with the US giving the Arabs Aramco. 😀

  11. Things like this make me wish AI would become sentient asap

  12. no wonder UK is so nice with saudis all the time…as they control crucial infrastructure…first football clubs, now everything else…united arab kingdom

  13. What bad has ever come of Saudi Arabia taking control of airplanes?

  14. That tracks. Giving the Saudis more planes to fly into buildings to kill thousands of more people. I haven’t forgotten what they’ve done to America on 9/11. We still need to return the favor. Maybe pick a building in Dubai and have a little drone accident.

  15. Stupid Europeans sell everything off to the highest bidder while in most Arab/Asian countries you can’t buy a m2 of land if you are not partnered with a local…..

  16. This is a terrible idea, so of course our politicians will 100% support it

  17. the government had a golden share in BAA

(until the EU ruled it anti-competitive…)

  18. Former British Empire in nutt shell. At least keep your home islands folks.

  19. Seems fairly unlikely given the recent scrutiny and blocking of the sale of the Telegraph newspaper to Abu Dhabi. Heathrow is of far greater strategic importance
