If any Brit wants to bring a non-UK spouse over and looks to Labour for reversal, I don’t think you’d get it.

Genuine question to the Starmer supporters: how many more Tory policies does he have to support before we’re allowed to call him a Tory? Is the line still ‘he’s just lying in order to win Tory voters round and will actually become a proper Labour politician once in power?’ Or is it just ‘yes he’s the same as the Tories, but he just won’t be as corrupt or chaotic as them’?
We need to do something about immigration, but when anything is proposed people don’t like it
700,000 a year isn’t sustainable.
They have lost my vote because of this issue. I’m a commonwealth immigrant, so I can vote, but this position clearly signals to me that they don’t respect my wife’s right to live with me in the UK. Really depressing position from Labour here — I guess I’ll have to vote Green, as they’re the only party even purporting to stand up for my family.
A lot of shit slinging going on towards literally anything pertaining to reducing immigration numbers. Do you guys actually think 700K a year is a sustainable number?
What would you do instead?
This yet again proves that the current Labour leadership are cowards. They have nothing that differentiates them from the Tories so why would folk vote for a fake Tory party? It’s illogical and will lose Labour the next election. We need a far left, socialist candidate from the Corbyn camp who will not be afraid to turn to fresh policies.
Why should unskilled drains on society like teachers and nurses expect to be able to live with their spouses.
