  1. This is unfortunately pretty much the standard for VAR in the Premier League. A clear red card challenge isn’t given as a red because the on field ref gave a yellow. So it’s not “enough” of an error to give a red.

    How can the richest league in the world have the worst implementation of VAR?

  2. PGMOL will admit their error by giving a Red Card the next time someone commits this same tackle

  3. Romero tackle against him earlier in the match wasn’t even a red. Safe to say that they are not in a anyway consistent with this, but I do notice a pattern from rival fans whenever Tottenham benefits from these decisions.

  4. The only people dumber than romero are the people that think this is a red.

  5. It’s absolutely hilariously predictable that this would happen. Gusto, Casmerio and Jones were all sent off for fairly benign stud up challenges early in the year and now VAR and the refs just don’t care.

  6. Well if you’re happy I’m happy and that’s all that matters.
