The only thing i can think of is that one poem about a poor family that couldn’t afford decorations but when a small girl woke up she noticed that spider webs and droplets of water formed decorations, the next thing i can think of is so called spiders that were a thing before christmass tree was a standard practice, it was a kind of ornament Made from straw and paired together with a small tree and Angels during christmass
