Please support this, young people are suffering from this horrendous disease, and they are sentenced to life in bed.
I’ve had me for 30 years now, I’ve been treated shockingly by most healthcare professionals . There needs to be more research into the causes and then hopefully that can lead to treatments. Unfortunately, in healthcare they have always put it down to mental issues for too long.
It’s interesting that an organisation that wants to promote the consequences of long COVID also has an anti-vax section on their website. Given vaccination is pretty much our only defence against severe COVID infection.
My brother has long covid, he’s doing good but he decided to go private for tests and treatment. But he’s back to a normal quality of life.
I just had a read of the website from the billboard. It’s a bit wordy and talking about vaccine injuries is probably going to make people dismiss it. It would be better to word it differently, say these illnesses can be caused or exacerbated by covid, including introduction via vaccine. (If the science supports that, I didn’t read everything.) But using phrases like vaccine injured lumps the website in with anti-vaxxers, which nobody wants to be associated with. Especially when you’re looking to be taken seriously.
Long Covid along with ME/CFS are all made up illnesses.
