MS Word in Japanese has unique [features](https://imgur.com/a/cBNPxXO) and functions, that do not carry over into English at all, such as:
* Japanese greetings (based on occasion, season, and time)
* Encircling characters – Adding a shape bordering a character
* Mailings: There are additional variants (like Chinese envelopes) or Japanese postcards
* [Genkou Setting](https://superuser.com/questions/1067977/genko-page-layout-microsoft-word-2010-and-2013) \- For this to work, you need to set both the UI and editing language to Japanese, along with having the Japanese version of MS installed, which is a square grid background to assist positioning of writing East Asian characters. (Like Kanji, Hanzi or Hangul)
* Conversion between simplified/traditional Chinese characters
* Convert Hanzi / Kanji to Hangul (Korean) and vice versa
* ルビ (Adding Furigana to Kanji)
