The Polish are excited about the transfer of power like never before.
However the PiS populist/authoritarians may squirm, the time has run out for them. I am happy to see more freedom return to Poland, hopefully they will enter a good development.

We’ll all see it live from congress. As per usual, the official Sejm RP YouTube channel will leave live chat on.
Also, it’ll be aired live on the silver screen as well. More specifically, Kinoteka under the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw.

Hungary next hopefully.
It is good to have competent leadership once again… especially in these dangerous times we live in.
I hope he will break free from the Western leash, but looking at how they tried to push through a bill crafted by German lobbyists even before officially forming the government, it doesn’t seem likely. shame, because he could do big things for Poland.
Who cares? One oligarch displaced another. Virtually nothing will change.
Can’t wait for a billion African migrants
I told all of you and none of you believed me
Hopefully this will let us to have a bit of rest from the topic.
I voted for the guy twice back in the day and it is absolutely beyond me how people voted him again this time. Politicians generally annoy me but this fella really takes the biscuit. I have never been so disappointed with a politician.
Not the same political side but it is as if Trump got reelected.
Edit: spelling

I wonder if they will stop protecting Hungary and if EU will finally do something to them
I remember that guy’s name. Elon Trump. No. Donald Musk. No. DONALD TUSK. THAT’S IT.
So finally they will have EURO?
The amount of cope from PiS supporters masquerading as (nonsupporters) in this thread is putting a smile on my face. Also, notice the freshly made accounts with zero posts being critical of the government that have not even been created yet.
I have news for you.
Pis is never going back to power. And there are reasons for that.
1. They just lost all media. They were stupid enough to turn state media into disgusting propaganda. And failed to create their own private station with conservative viewpoints. Now they will be left with no large media at all. Just some small niche trash media.
2. They were spying on the opposition with Pegasus and now Tusk will make sure everybody in Poland knows exactly how and when it happened. A new Commission was already created in the Polish Parliament by the majority. They will run will it. And there is evidence of wrongdoing.
3. During Covid, Morawiecki – Polish PM at the time, broke the law and another Commission was already created. All the most important PiS politicians will be summoned to answer questions. PiS former coalition partners are ready to sell them out (Gowin) out of revenge.
4. Kaczynski is the glue that holds PiS together and by the next election, he will be 78-79. The way he looks he might not even make it that far. Without him, PiS will disintegrate. There are politicians within PiS that hate each other more than they hate the opposition.
5. PiS former Minister of Law Ziobro also is in deep shit. You can expect another Commission about breaking the rule of law in Poland.
6. Another scandal involves selling VISA. This is yet another Commission that will deep dive into corruption during PiS reign in the Foreign Ministry. This is why Tusk assigned Sikorski as FM. He will make sure all the corruption will be shown. And another former PIS politicians is ready to sell their former friends to clear up their name.
7. There is no way PiS will win the next Presidential election in 2025. It’s going to be either Trzaskowski (KO) or Holownia (PL2050). This election is going to be between two opposition figures. PiS won’t even get into the second turn.
To summarize. PiS is done. They stole too much money, They were too corrupt. They did not expect to lose so they let their guard down. Their president is on the way out. And this is a great time for Polish democracy. We should celebrate it. And we will.
Greets from Montenegro. We need to preserve Europe and European unity and the reelection of Donald Tusk is major major major, ultra mega giga good news for further integration but also unification of Europe.
Mr. Tusk is a great friend of Montenegro and was always supporting our struggles when it comes to EU accession. Hopefully Montenegro could become the next EU member.
Somehow Tusk returned
If you told me about 3 months ago that this day would actually come I wouldn’t believe it. I was really sceptical that the opposition would win simply because of the staggering amount of idiots who still vote PIS. What a pleasant surprise, however. Definitely a breath of fresh air for Poland <3
I’m afraid that this might result in more taxes and a bigger dependency on Germany.
Any other similar good news for other EU nations? Maybe Orban will get replaced in near future? Or some other ru sympathisers get replaced?
We will see if this will turn out to be such a popcorn moment. 1st statute that was proposed caused some serious tremors and made fools of a couple of politicians so … also it’s a coalition of many contrasts so it’s not gonna be a honeymoon …
PiS will be in power again when poland opens their border
WTF does „popcorn moment” mean?
Haven’t heard great things about the guy but as long as he’s just as anti-immigration as the last guy he’s cool in my book
Finally. Let’s start by clearing the way for lorries carrying material to Ukraine.

For me Tusk will always be remembered [for his speech](https://youtu.be/y6YrQmd7rMQ?si=tsggCQKcagoVYh51) he held here.
Quite a nice individual I would add.
