If we somehow balk at “roughly 2% of our defense budget” against our NUMBER 2 geopolitical rival; then the next 30 years or so are going to horrific.
The average American feels ZERO sacrifice from arming Ukraine. If you could tell an American in 1938 that they could take Japan out of WWII three years early for the annualized cost of $64 bucks per American they would ask if you were joking.

Europe is fucking useless. People bitch about the US getting involved or meddling but have no problem when they’re covering the costs of all these countries threatened by dictators and terrorists.
Personally, I think that this is like Poland in the year 1939, if we had let Ukraine fall in early 2022, then Russia would have gone for other countries in Europe, and World War Three would have been a greater possablity.
Open the floodgates. Democracy and the sovereignty of democratic states depend on this.
