I really liked the melody at the beginning of this song. I thought the beginning of this song was taken from some German folk song. Do you know German folk songs that have a similar melody as the beginning of this song?

The song was produced by Arn Schlürmann (‘Paralyzer’) and to me personally sounds more influenced by Scottish bagpipe or Irish folk music than that basic Schlager four-four stuff.
Most music by “Godewind” has a similar sound.

Makes me think of Scotland the Brave to be honest.
