* prior to the case being heard next year, the MoS attempted to have “honest opinion” being a plank of their defence
* Harry’s lawyers argued that this was not true, and were trying to strike it out
* the judge has now decided that they can use this as a basis for their defence, and has assigned costs c.£50k to Team Harry for that unsuccessful challenge
Next year is the big legal action. The Mail on Sunday haven’t escaped that.
The Mail shouldn’t be able to use “honest opinion” as honestly isn’t something they’re even slightly acquainted with.
Seems the best career option is to be a lawyer. There everywhere
No wonder justice is out of the price range of most people.. Can’t think of many people willing to risk costs like that even if they are certain of the morality of their position.
